The National Housing Center (NHC) is located in the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) building, which sits on the corner of 15th and M Streets and is two blocks north of the White House in Northwest Washington, D.C. NHC is less than one mile to the Washington Convention Center. There are ample public parking garages available across the street from both our M Street and 15th Street entrances. The garages on 15th Street tend to be the most cost effective. NHC does not operate any parking garages.

D.C. Metro

NHC is easily accessible from three different Metro stations: Farragut North (Red Line), Farragut West (Blue & Orange Lines), and McPherson Square (Blue & Orange Lines).

Washington Reagan National Airport

Directions: Head north to airport access road. Take ramp onto George Washington Memorial Pkwy. Exit I-395 N toward Washington, entering District of Columbia. Exit on left 14th St SW/US-1 N. Continue on 14th St NW. Enter traffic circle and take the 6th exit onto M Street. Turn Right at 15th Street. NHC is on the right at corner.

Washington Dulles International Airport

Directions: Merge onto VA-267 E. Merge onto I-66 E, entering District of Columbia. Take exit for E Street/Interstate 66 E. Keep Right at fork, and merge onto E Street NW/E Street. Continue to follow E Street NW. Turn Left on 18th Street NW. Turn Right on H Street NW. Turn Left on 14th Street NW. Enter traffic circle and take the 6th exit onto M Street. Turn Right at 15th Street. NHC is on the right at corner.

Baltimore/Washington International Airport

Directions: Take Balt-Wash Pkwy (I-295 S) to Route 50 W (will become New York Ave). Cross over North Capitol Street into Northwest DC. New York Avenue will become Mount Vernon Place briefly and then become Massachusetts Avenue. Keep Right at the fork to continue on Massachusetts Avenue. Enter traffic circle and take 5th exit onto M Street. Turn Right on 15th Street. NHC is on the right at corner.
